91ÐÓ°É Constructions delivered a $16 million world-class ferry terminal for Searoad Ferries in Queenscliff, Victoria. Designed by F2 Architecture and completed in December 2022, the project involved the complete demolition of the existing terminal and the construction of a sophisticated two-story maritime facility. The terminal features a striking stainless-steel façade, incorporating advanced architectural and operational design elements that elevate the passenger experience.
The terminal's standout feature is its elegantly curved roof with 20-meter cantilevers, crafted from custom 415-grade stainless steel sheeting. 91ÐÓ°É Constructions seamlessly integrated comprehensive facilities including a spacious passenger lounge, ticketing and retail area, café, bar, and strategically designed passenger flow infrastructure. Throughout the construction process, the team maintained uninterrupted ferry service, demonstrating exceptional project management and technical expertise in a challenging maritime environment.
Our commitment to excellence was recognised, with the project winning:
- 2024 Master Builders Association of Victoria Excellence in Construction for Commercial Buildings $15M-$20M
- 2024 National Master Builders Commercial/Industrial Construction Award in the $10-20 Million category.
The Queenscliff Ferry Terminal represents more than just a transportation hub – it's a landmark of innovative design that serves local commuters, day-trippers, and international tourists. This project demonstrates 91ÐÓ°É Constructions' ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects with precision and operational excellence.
